Il Wireless Multi-Function Access Point consente una completa mobilità mantenendo sempre una continua connessione.
Semplice da installare, veloce e flessibile, permette di decidere in quale ambiente lavorare con il portatile o PC fisso, attraverso un accesso wireless. E finalmente possibile estendere lattuale rete LAN senza la preoccupazione di cavi ingombranti.
Lutile funzione di roaming consente una maggiore libertà di movimento: la gestione di due o più Wireless Multi-Function Access Point consente di realizzare una rete wireless anche in uffici di notevoli dimensioni.
Il supporto della funzionalità Bridging rende possibile la connessione, tramite un ponte wireless, di due diverse LAN, mentre con la funzionalità Repeating è possibile estendere la copertura di una rete wireless. La modalità AP Client permette di configurare il dispositivo come un vero e proprio adattatore ethernet wireless.
Il supporto dello standard PoE (IEEE802.3af) consente di alimentare l’apparato direttamente dal cavo ethernet rendondone l’installazione estremamente comoda e veloce.
Il chipset garantisce inoltre il pieno supporto hardware, senza nessuna degradazione di performance, degli standard di sicurezza più recenti, come il Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA/WPA2) ed IEEE802.11i.
La rete wireless sarà finalmente scattante ed a prova di hacker.
